Elevated wraparound TimberTech deck in Castle Gate gray, ringed by black vertical cable railing for uninterrupted views, with decorative laser-cut privacy screens wrapping a hot tub and a composite staircase down to the garden.

Wilshire wraps the back of a two-story brick home in a single, sweeping outdoor room. The floor is TimberTech Castle Gate — a low-maintenance gray composite that stays cool-toned through East Tennessee summers — and the whole perimeter is framed in Cable Bullet vertical cable railing: black posts strung with tensioned stainless cables so the sightlines to the manicured backyard stay wide open. A projecting section steps out toward the tree line for a hot tub, screened on three sides by black powder-coated laser-cut privacy panels that add shade and seclusion without walling the space in. A composite staircase with matching black railing drops down through the rose beds to a landing at grade, and the whole deck sits high on an engineered pressure-treated frame over a clean stone bed. It's a big deck that still feels open — exactly what the cable railing was chosen to do.
