Spacious elevated pressure-treated wood deck off the rear of a brick home, with a full pressure-treated railing system and step access down to grade.

An elevated wood deck is more than just lumber on posts — the higher you go, the more the structural details matter. This build uses premium pressure-treated lumber on the framing, decking, posts, and railings, and a set of stairs at one end provides step access down to grade. The result is a spacious outdoor extension that sits squarely on its footprint and will hold up to family use for years with routine cleaning and re-staining.
